本人背景：申请Washington State University读本科，专业是environmental science。广州一所学校高中毕业。WSU给了freshman academic award，估计我的情况还比较罕有，直接读美国的大学。而且时间衔接得很好，因为我在2002年1月就开始准备考托了，一路上大部份都是自己准备。

羡慕人家很久，终于有机会来说说自己的签经了。先说说一签的情况吧。五月三十准时7点半来到美国领事馆。那天F1特别多。前面的两个GG一个去florida读法律，另一个到boston读MBA，（她后来签过了，真的恭喜她！）乍看整个队伍，数我最年轻了。：）

都是按照惯例到五号窗交材料，那个小姐特没礼貌，好像谁都看不起，我心想：秋～你不就是个小秘书罢了，有本事就到US去，还瞧不起人！哼

接着就安排到3号窗。前面的是一个签商务的阿姨，一头金黄的头发，化了很浓的妆，唉呀，也挺吓人的。八点半准时开，是一个帅哥，很高，看起来挺nice的样子。我自己的心也定了下来，好采，不是杀手。

3号帅哥的中文也挺流利，和浓妆阿姨对答如流。也挺耐心。大约过了五分钟就在passport里盖章了。第二个就是我,心跳得特快,但我觉得自己口语好,材料足,不断给自己信心…..

ME :Good morning
VO:一边在浓妆阿姨的申请表上划着些什么,一边说im sorry, please wait a few seconds;
ME: Fine, no worries.
VO: No worries!? Thanks (对我笑了一下)
VO: Okay. Sorry to keep you waiting. So what are you going to do in America?
ME :I plan to go to Washington State University to study Environmental Science for a bachelor degree.
VO:Umm, environmental science..
ME: Yeah, and the school give me an offer, here’s the admission letter.
VO:But why the…(指着I-20,因为上面不知道为什么没提到offer)
ME: Well it’s a conditional offer, the school will reduce my tuition fee if I meet their demands. I don’t know why they don’t write on the I-20
VO: So you graduated from high school?
ME:Umm,not really. I am going to graduate from high school at the end of this month. Here’s the certificate would you like to see?
VO; OK(一边看我的毕业证书和成绩)
ME :I have an outstanding performance in high school, or the WSU wouldn’t have given me a academic adward.
VO; yeah I know. So what’s environmental science?
ME.well it’s the study of natural environment and modified environment and their interreaction with biological system (可能背得东西太过专业了,他好像不是太明白) Actually, it’s a very board subject ,it requires the knowledge of physic, chemistry, biology, geography, and math, soil science, and even engineering.
VO：why you chose this field?
ME: I travel a lot and I like the nature environment. But you see that now the pollution problem is getting serious nowadays in our city and even in the guangdong area.。The government want to change this situation. But the fact is they don’t have enough professional people and advance technology even though they are will to pay money on this issue. I’m interested in this field and I would like to be a professional of environmental. That’s why I go for this major.
VO: What will you do with the degree?
ME: I want to get a job in the government. I want to be a director in the water resource department of guangdong province. I hope that I can help to make our city a better place to live in.You see that,with the growing concern of environmental issues.that certainly expands the job opportunities. And I think that china will have a tremendous demand of employees of this field by the time I graduate from university.$$%@#%^*&^%$%#%^(之后我就哗喇哗喇的说，他也没有打断我，但我觉得就是在这里栽了。我给他太多理论。美国人比较喜欢微观的东西。我没有给他明确的回国计划，例如在哪里工作，这个工作的学历要求等等。)
VO：So do you have any relative living in the State?
Me; Nope……..er..but I have a few friends there ,in seattle.
VO(起了警觉) how did you know them?
ME;太坦白了，有些后悔。It was a cross-culture visiting program. They came to China for travel and I was the tourguide to help to show around the city. We just met once last year.
VO. So is this the reason why you chose Washington State University? (giggle)
ME: OF course not! I chose Washington State U because they give me an offer. And the school gave me a reply earlier than other school I have applied to.
VO: Who will pay for you?
ME: My parents. My father is(*^&^@)(#&)*(&!(@* my mother is^&)^(*&^@_&($ here is the income certificate and the history of saving.
VO:okay,well please wait for a while and we have to do some research. I will call your name later
ME; Thank you.

等了大概五分钟。听说这样被check多数是过的，但我也很着急。然后他就叫了我的名字。说我没有convince他我会回国，之后我又和他俱理力挣了几句。但他只是说sorry，就盖章了。

出来的时候也没到九点。感觉面谈的时候，无论你准备得多好，都会觉得手忙脚乱，而且脑子里跳出了什么就说什么。但我有一个小小的建议，就是要说到点子上，不然的话，VO会觉得得到的信息太多，会很乱。我就是一个失败的例子。

赶紧调整好心态，准备决战高考。心情只是低落了一个下午，就全心身的去准备高考，毕竟我没有十成的把握出国。高考对我特重要。心想高考后再二签！

之后5.30号后，父母就请教了别人，总结了经验加了新的材料。

6月7号语文和数学，8号英语和综合。9，10号刚巧没科。所以赶紧准备签证。11号是英语二。那个星期过得特刺激。人生的大事都挤在一起了。

12号8.30才去到。一看就傻了。长长的队伍，什么人都有。我就抱着试试的心态，反正都没太大把握会签过。

被安排到3号窗，也是一个很nice的vo，恐怕是网上说的忧郁王子吧，很耐心。等到11.15，突然，情况出现了变化。4号窗开了。是一个中年的VO，没有听说过他，三号窗的一些人被叫了过去，一开始就据了两个F1，妈呀，不要轮到我阿！然后就被叫到四号窗了。我很不情愿。但又要强颜欢笑。

FLO：Good morning
VO: Good morning.So what will you do in the State?
Flo: I plan to go to Washington state university to study environmental science for a bachelor degree.
VO; Which school are you in now?
Flo: I study in Peizheng Middle school. In Dongshan District.Im going to graduate this month.
VO.So who will pay for your tuition fee?
FLO: My parents will do. And also the school is willing to reduce my tuition fee. Would you like to have a look at my admission letter?
VO: Okay,( JUST a glance然后就退了回来)开始在我的表上乱划，然后就对身后的中国MM说了几句，应该是叫她check一下吧

然后我就到被check专区凉快去了。我想糟了。100美金就这样泡汤了。他什么材料也没看，被拒了连死因都不清楚。我就在那等，等死！等又一张白纸条飞出。三分钟，他叫了我的名字；

VO:okay,come to get your visa this afternoon.
FLO; (surprised) you mean. This afternoon?????
VO; yep!(绿纸条飞出)

Oh my gosh! I can’t believe it!太玄了。我看了很多次绿纸，是否真的过了，我还不大相信。我就是不停的对自己说I can’t believe this,thank god!

老爸接到电话马上赶来，兴奋的拥抱！他还闪烁着泪光呢！中午和爸妈在白天鹅分享这快乐的喜悦！
