I just tell you another story which is truly happened around me. I have a buddy who is one of my co-worker。he came from Argentina 3 months ago。he attended a work shop and has been in touch with his advisor。just last week, IBM selected 6 persons out of 500 for an internship program through work shop he attended, and he is one of 6 candidates. and he took phone interview Monday morning and he was arranged second interview in person, no matter if he would get offer or not. he got this chance.
job classification here is totally different from that in china. unless you has working experience in a multi-nation company like 500 fortune, you need to know how job market is exactly like in here. and you need to set up your local networking which is the most helpful for your job hunting.
Job agencies I was talking about wasn’t those kind of TIAN HONG ,they only introduce labour job to you. you may check out yellow page or if you attend work shop, you will get agency lists ,besides this ,you will know how to market yourself, how to find hidden job market, the skill during the interview, etc。
I’m tired after hours of work, can’t type more here, you can visit www.chinasmile.net,that BBS will kind of guide your the way to job hunting.
Good luck
