　　CSL 职业集中在建筑(building trades)，信息技术(information technology professionals),工程师(engineers)和医疗职业(medical professionals)，职业类型数少于各州的紧缺职业类别。对于会计职业(Accounting)如果要想得到优先处理必须雅思单项不低于 7 分(申请前 2 年之内的成绩有效)，和/或完成一年的 SMIPA (skilled migration internship program – accounting)。2007-08 澳大利亚审批的移民中有 23,424 属于CSL。
